How to choose

  • BBQ size. The Cuba for a couple or small patio, the St. Vincent for a family, the Dominica for entertaining, the Bahama Island for an outdoor kitchen without building.
  • Heater style. The Capri spreads heat from a wide reflector; the Tahiti II, Emporio and Santorini add a visible flame; the Chantico and Sirocco sit on the table.
  • Gas. Use propane for cold-weather use and the regulator specified for each product.

Gas and safety

Lifestyle BBQs and heaters are for outdoor use in a well-ventilated area only. Use propane for cold weather, fit the regulator each product specifies and leak test the joints with soapy water each season. Keep to the clearances in each manual: for example, the Capri patio heater needs at least 915mm from combustible materials and the Emporio 100cm above and at the sides. Store cylinders outdoors, upright and away from drains, and turn off at the cylinder after use.
