Will it suit your space?

As a rough guide, allow 1kW of heat for every 14 cubic metres of room volume in an average room, so 2kW suits a room of around 28 cubic metres (about 3.4 x 3.4 m with a 2.4 m ceiling). Older, draughty or high-ceilinged rooms need more, and a heat-loss check by a heating engineer gives the right answer.

The fire measures 1554 mm wide, 490 mm high and 235 mm deep and weighs 46.44 kg. It needs additional fitting, so plan the media wall to the installation manual supplied with the fire, with an accessible socket within reach of the 1.6 m cable, which comes out on the right.

Installation and safety

No chimney or flue is needed; the fire runs from the mains via a 1.6 m cable. Additional fitting is required: build the media wall opening to the installation manual supplied with the fire, and use the metal side plate to set it up as a corner view fire on the side you choose. Plug it into a socket that stays accessible, not one behind the fire or the media wall.
