The Adam Cotswold is a 48 inch stone effect fireplace suite with matching back panel and hearth, fitted with a brushed steel Colorado bioethanol fire. It stands 1122 mm high, 1215 mm wide and 380 mm deep, fits flat to the wall, and the 1.5 litre burner gives up to 3kW for 3 to 5 hours.

About this product

Will it suit your space?

The Colorado fire needs a minimum room volume of 63 cubic metres (length x width x ceiling height), and the room needs ventilation of at least 0.5 air changes an hour, which trickle vents, door gaps or briefly opening a window usually provide. As a rough heating guide, 1kW warms about 14 cubic metres, but this is tested as a decorative appliance, so a proper heat-loss check gives the right figure if you need it to heat the room. The suite fits flat to the wall with no chimney needed, and arrives unassembled.

Installation and safety

Use only liquid bioethanol of 96% purity or higher, never gel fuel. Fill the burner no higher than its maximum level, wipe up any spill and let the area dry fully before lighting, and keep the room ventilated.

Only liquid bioethanol with a purity of 96% or higher. It is not suitable for gel fuel.

Does it need a chimney or flue?

No. It is a flueless decorative appliance, but the room must meet the minimum volume and ventilation given for the appliance.

How deep is the shelf?

Returns

You have 30 days from delivery to change your mind, with no restocking fees. Returns after day 14 must be unused, uninstalled and in the original packaging. If we collect, it costs £90 for a single pallet item or £150 for two-person and multi-pallet deliveries; garden buildings, and collections from Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Highlands and islands, are priced before booking and never cost more than £250. Items made to your specification are excluded, and faulty or damaged goods are collected free.
