This compact 2mm steel pit does two jobs. Use it on its own as a small camping fire pit, or put the lid on and sit it on a swing arm or BBQ rack over a bigger fire to roast joints, vegetables or potatoes. Add smoking pellets or powder and it becomes a smoker box for cheese or fish.

Installation and safety

Use outdoors only, never in a tent, awning or other enclosed space, as a fire gives off carbon monoxide. Stand it on a stable, non-combustible surface. It gets very hot: handle it with heat-resistant gloves and let it cool fully before packing it away. Wash, dry and wipe with a little cooking oil after use (Firepits UK advises against olive oil).

Questions

Can I cook directly in it as a fire pit?

Yes, as a small camping fire. For roasting or smoking, Firepits UK suggests placing it with the lid on over a gentle heat on a Swing Arm or BBQ Rack.

Does it need a bigger fire pit?

Only for the roasting oven use. As a camping pit it works on its own.

Delivery policy

Returns

You have 30 days from delivery to change your mind, with no restocking fees. Returns after day 14 must be unused, uninstalled and in the original packaging. If we collect, it costs £90 for a single pallet item or £150 for two-person and multi-pallet deliveries; garden buildings, and collections from Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Highlands and islands, are priced before booking and never cost more than £250. Items made to your specification are excluded, and faulty or damaged goods are collected free.

Return and refund policy

Warranty

The manufacturer's warranty terms apply, which can include registering the product, professional installation and annual servicing. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act are not affected.

Installation and safety

For outdoor use only, on a stable, non-combustible surface, well away from buildings, fences, decking and overhanging branches.
Burn dry, seasoned wood or the fuel the manufacturer recommends, and never use petrol or similar liquids to light it.
Never take it into a tent, garage or other enclosed space, even while it cools: it keeps giving off carbon monoxide.
