The Asado Maximo is a South American-style fire table from Firepits UK, built for a la parrilla cooking: logs burn in a fire basket, embers drop to the fire bricks below and you draw them under the grill. It comes with a height-adjustable wheeled grill, an 80cm rotisserie, an overhead smoking cage with two hanging warming racks and a log store, all in 3mm steel.

A 73 x 48cm wheeled grill that raises and lowers with a turn of a handle, from searing steaks to slow-cooking brisket.

What's in the box

Installation and safety

Use it outdoors only, on firm, level, non-combustible ground with clear space around it and nothing overhead that can burn. Keep children and pets back while it is lit, wear heat-resistant gloves and keep water to hand. Wash, dry and oil the cooking surfaces after use (Firepits UK advises against olive oil). The bare steel weathers to a russet patina, which does not affect its life. An ash rake and fire gloves are recommended for moving embers.

Questions

How does asado cooking work?

Logs burn in the fire basket, the embers fall onto the bricks, and you rake them under the grill. Raise or lower the grill to set the heat.

A wheeled grill, two hanging warming racks, a fire basket, a rotisserie, a log store and two castors.

Returns

You have 30 days from delivery to change your mind, with no restocking fees. Returns after day 14 must be unused, uninstalled and in the original packaging. If we collect, it costs £90 for a single pallet item or £150 for two-person and multi-pallet deliveries; garden buildings, and collections from Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Highlands and islands, are priced before booking and never cost more than £250. Items made to your specification are excluded, and faulty or damaged goods are collected free.

Return and refund policy

Warranty

The manufacturer's warranty terms apply, which can include registering the product, professional installation and annual servicing. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act are not affected.

Installation and safety

For outdoor use only, on a stable, non-combustible surface, well away from buildings, fences, decking and overhanging branches.
Burn dry, seasoned wood or the fuel the manufacturer recommends, and never use petrol or similar liquids to light it.
Never take it into a tent, garage or other enclosed space, even while it cools: it keeps giving off carbon monoxide.
