The Pitnic is a portable steel charcoal barbecue from Firepits UK with a wooden carry handle and grills that sit at two heights. After cooking you tip out the ash, store the grills inside and close it up. The Pitnic has two grills and suits one to four people; the Pitnic Dual has four grills, two each side, and suits two to six.

Will it suit your space?

The Pitnic measures 45 x 32cm and 25cm high including the handle (10kg). The Pitnic Dual is 45 x 37cm and 40cm high (15.5kg). Both close up small enough to carry to a campsite, picnic spot or beach, and to store in a shed or car boot between uses.

Installation and safety

Use outdoors only, never in a tent, caravan, awning or other enclosed space, as burning or cooling charcoal gives off carbon monoxide. Stand it on a stable, heat-resistant surface, and keep children and pets away while it is hot. Let it cool down fully before handling or closing it; Firepits UK specifically notes the Dual needs time to cool. Wash, dry and oil the grills after use.
