About this product
Will it suit your space?
Check the sizes table below for the height, bowl depth and weight of each option. Allow space around the fire pit for seating and for the racks to swing out. The larger sizes are heavy, so choose the position before the first fire.

Installation and safety

Questions
What racks are included?
The 50cm to 90cm single-rack versions come with one removable Swing Arm BBQ Rack, half grill and half solid plate. The Plain Jane 90 three-rack version has three removable 36cm racks: a solid plate, an all-bar grill and a half-and-half rack. The Plain Jane 120 has four removable 43cm racks.
Does the rack need seasoning?
Yes. Heat it, wash it, dry it and rub over a little cooking oil before first use. The bowl itself does not need seasoning.
What should I burn in it?
Firepits UK says charcoal can be used in the 50cm and 60cm sizes (the 60cm also takes logs), and well-seasoned or kiln-dried logs in the 70cm and larger sizes. It is a wood burning fire pit, not a gas barbecue.
Can I put it on the lawn?
Firepits UK advises against standing it directly on grass because the heat scorches it. Gravel or paving is better, and wooden fire pit feet can lift it off paving to reduce rust marks.
Will it stay black?
No. The steel is only oiled, so it starts to rust once in use and develops a patina. Firepits UK says this does not affect durability.
