Will it suit your space?

It needs a room of at least 63 cubic metres (length x width x ceiling height), and OKO treats the stove as a decorative heater, not your main heating. The room needs ventilation of at least 0.5 air changes an hour, which trickle vents, door gaps or briefly opening a window usually provide. As a rough heating guide, 1kW warms about 14 cubic metres, but a proper heat-loss check gives the right figure if you need it to heat the room. Stand it on a level, hard and stable surface, never on carpet. Every option is 430 mm wide and 300 mm deep; check the sizes table below for the height of each option.

Installation and safety

No flue, chimney or installer is needed. Place it in a well-ventilated room, at least 1 m from curtains and other flammable items and out of draughts, on a level, hard surface, never on carpet. Use only liquid bioethanol, never gel fuel. Fill the burner no higher than its maximum level, wipe up any spill and let the area dry fully before lighting, and never refill the burner while it is lit or still hot. Never leave it lit and unattended, do not use it in a kitchen or bathroom, and keep the control tool to hand to put it out. OKO also recommends a carbon monoxide detector in the room.
