The Acantha Ignis 1500 is a 1554 mm (61 inch) wide electric fire built into a media wall or false chimney breast, in the panoramic installation version. It has a 3D LED flame effect over a log fuel bed and gives 1 or 2kW with a thermostat, a remote and a 7-day programmable timer.

As a rough guide, allow 1kW of heat for every 14 cubic metres of room volume in an average room, so 2kW suits a room of around 28 cubic metres (about 3.4 x 3.4 m with a 2.4 m ceiling). Older, draughty or high-ceilinged rooms need more, and a heat-loss check by a heating engineer gives the right answer.

The fire measures 1554 mm wide, 604 mm high and 376 mm deep, so plan the stud wall or chimney breast to the installation manual supplied with the fire.

Installation and safety

No chimney or flue is needed; the fire runs from the mains via a 1.5 m cable. Build the media wall opening to the installation manual supplied with the fire.

Returns

You have 30 days from delivery to change your mind, with no restocking fees. Returns after day 14 must be unused, uninstalled and in the original packaging. If we collect, it costs £90 for a single pallet item or £150 for two-person and multi-pallet deliveries; garden buildings, and collections from Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Highlands and islands, are priced before booking and never cost more than £250. Items made to your specification are excluded, and faulty or damaged goods are collected free.
