Installation and safety
Let the stove cool completely before changing any part. If you are unsure, ask a HETAS-registered engineer to fit it.

Will these parts fit my stove?
They are genuine Carron spares listed for the Carron 4.7kW cast iron stove (BHC and CRA models). Check the model plate or manual on your stove and the part code before ordering.
Why only genuine parts?
Carron says only genuine Carron spare parts should be used, and that other parts may damage the stove and invalidate the warranty.
Can I use ordinary glass instead?
No. Stove doors need heat-resistant stove glass; this is Carron's replacement door glass for the model. Never fit window glass to a stove.
When should firebricks be replaced?
Carron says hairline cracks are normal; replace the bricks when larger cracks expose the stove body or the material starts to crumble.
