A cage of 4mm British steel hoops that locks a whole chicken, a joint or vegetables in place and hangs on an 80cm chain over the fire, so the heat and smoke cook it from every side. It hangs from a Hanging Arm with Hook, a cooking tripod or your own chain set-up.

Installation and safety

Steel cookware gets very hot over a fire, so handle it with heat-resistant gloves. Firepits UK oils its cooking accessories for transit: heat the item over the fire before first use and wash it, then after each use wash, dry and wipe it with a little cooking oil (not olive oil). Any rust can be brushed off with a wire brush and the item re-oiled.

Returns

You have 30 days from delivery to change your mind, with no restocking fees. Returns after day 14 must be unused, uninstalled and in the original packaging. If we collect, it costs £90 for a single pallet item or £150 for two-person and multi-pallet deliveries; garden buildings, and collections from Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Highlands and islands, are priced before booking and never cost more than £250. Items made to your specification are excluded, and faulty or damaged goods are collected free.
