The Shire Crinan is a log cabin with 19mm interlocking log walls, a tongue and groove roof and floor, and an 850mm front roof overhang that gives a shaded spot outside the door. It has a fully glazed single door that locks with a key and a Georgian style opening window that can sit either side of the door. It comes in 7x7, 8x8 and 9x9, Without assembly or With assembly.

The Crinan takes from 2,090mm x 2,090mm (7x7) to 2,690mm x 2,690mm (9x9) on the ground. Check the sizes table below for the footprint, height and internal floor of each size. Check the space with the overhang included, and leave room all round to build it and to treat the timber each year. It needs a firm, flat and level base such as concrete, paving slabs or a timber frame base; grass, soil or loose gravel will move under the weight.

It arrives as a kit with instructions, or choose the With Assembly option and it is put up for you on a base you have prepared.
Timber: supplied untreated; treat with paint or stain immediately after assembly.
Guarantee: the 8x8 carries a 10 year anti-rot guarantee on Shire's terms: treat with a quality spirit-based preservative on or shortly after assembly and at least every 12 months; firm level base, DPM and other conditions apply.
Questions
What size base do I need?
Make the base at least as big as the building itself and firm, flat and level. The external size of each option is in the sizes table.
Does it need treating?
Yes. It is supplied untreated, so treat it with paint or stain immediately after assembly.
Can it be assembled for me?
Yes. Choose the With Assembly option and the building is put up on site. The base must be ready, firm and level before the installation day.
Does it come with a floor?
Yes: tongue and groove, on pressure treated bearers (floor included).
How big is the door?
On the 7x7 and 8x8 the door opening is 676mm wide and 1,705mm high.
