Will it suit your space?
As a rough guide, allow 1kW of heat for every 14 cubic metres of room volume in an average room, so 1.8kW suits a room of around 25 cubic metres (about 3.2 x 3.2 m with a 2.4 m ceiling). Older, draughty or high-ceilinged rooms need more, and a heat-loss check by a heating engineer gives the right answer.
Every option is 433 mm high. Allow a wall space as wide as the fire you choose (660 mm for the 26 inch, 1066 mm for the 42 inch), with a socket within reach of the cable. Check the sizes table below for the exact dimensions.
