The BeefEater Proline 6 burner built-in BBQ is a seam-welded 304 grade stainless steel barbecue that drops into an outdoor kitchen worktop. Six burners heat a 430mm cast iron grill and a 430mm cast iron plate, 4,176cm² in all. Choose a double-skin roasting hood with a temperature gauge, for roasting joints as well as grilling, or a removable flat lid that doubles as a teppanyaki-style plate for a low-profile worktop.

Will it suit your space?

Both versions are 1,053mm wide and 540mm deep and drop into the same 1,025 x 502mm bench cut-out in a non-combustible benchtop at least 600mm deep, sitting 177mm below the worktop. The roasting hood stands higher above the worktop than the flat lid; check the sizes table below for the height above the worktop and the weight of each option.

Installation and safety

Use outdoors only, in a well-ventilated area, with the correct LPG regulator and hose (BeefEater UK hose and regulator 96582 for the Proline series). Fit it in a non-combustible benchtop with the enclosure vent BeefEater specifies. Conversion to natural gas must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.

Questions

What size opening do I need to build it in?

A 1,025 x 502mm cut-out in a non-combustible benchtop at least 600mm deep, with an enclosure vent of at least 700 x 25mm.

Can it run on mains natural gas?

Yes. It is set up for LPG, and BeefEater's manual says it converts to natural gas by changing the injectors. The conversion must be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer.

What warranty does it come with?

BeefEater Europe's UK terms give 25 years on the stainless steel burner box, 5 years on the burners, 3 years on the cast iron cooktops and 2 years on the hood, valves, ignition and other parts.

Free delivery to England and Wales. Standard items usually arrive in 3 to 7 working days; large and heavy items in 3 to 10 working days. The courier normally contacts you to book a day. Scotland and Northern Ireland charges are shown at checkout.

Delivery policy

Returns

You have 30 days from delivery to change your mind, with no restocking fees. Returns after day 14 must be unused, uninstalled and in the original packaging. If we collect, it costs £90 for a single pallet item or £150 for two-person and multi-pallet deliveries; garden buildings, and collections from Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Highlands and islands, are priced before booking and never cost more than £250. Items made to your specification are excluded, and faulty or damaged goods are collected free.

2 year manufacturer's warranty. The manufacturer's warranty terms apply, which can include registering the product, professional installation and annual servicing. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act are not affected.

Installation and safety

For outdoor use only, in the open air. Never use it in a tent, garage, shed or other enclosed space.
Use the gas type and regulator the manufacturer specifies, and check connections for leaks with soapy water before each use.
