The Carron Victorian is a late Victorian style cast iron combination fireplace, with the surround and insert cast in one piece. Fruit and urn motifs and a sunken archway carry the period detail. Choose the Large, 1090mm wide (about 43 inches), or the Small, 760mm wide (about 30 inches) with a small canopy, which suits smaller rooms and bedrooms, in black or full polish.

Installation and safety
This is a solid fuel fireplace, so it must be fitted to a working chimney and a non-combustible hearth by a HETAS-registered installer (Carron requires fitting by, or under the supervision of, a HETAS-qualified engineer), with a carbon monoxide alarm in the room.
If you fit Carron's matching gas fire to the Large instead, it must be installed by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
Questions
Can it burn gas?
Both sizes are supplied for solid fuel. Carron makes a matching gas fire for the Large (code NUF063, 6.0kW heat input), which needs a Class 1 or Class 2 flue; we do not sell the gas fire. Carron does not list a matching gas fire for the Small.
Does it need a chimney?
Yes. It must be fitted to a working chimney or flue and a non-combustible hearth, by a HETAS-registered installer, as Carron requires.
Which ash pan fits it?
Carron lists ash pan HEF037 as the replacement part for the Large and HEF039 for the Small.
