The Adam Helios is an inset electric fire with an LED glow over a pebble fuel bed, giving 1kW or 2kW with a thermostat. It needs a recess 545 mm high, 385 mm wide and 120 mm deep, and a spacer lets you adjust how far it sits into the opening. Choose a black or brushed steel finish.

Will it suit your space?
As a rough guide, allow 1kW of heat for every 14 cubic metres of room volume in an average room, so 2kW suits a room of around 28 cubic metres (about 3.4 x 3.4 m with a 2.4 m ceiling). Older, draughty or high-ceilinged rooms need more, and a heat-loss check by a heating engineer gives the right answer.
It needs a recess 545 mm high, 385 mm wide and 120 mm deep. The fire measures 595 x 485 x 156 mm (H x W x D). The plug must stay reachable after fitting.

Installation and safety
No chimney or flue is needed. Fit it into a suitable recess or surround, using the spacer if needed, and follow the instruction manual, which gives the clearances and any recess or wall requirements. If the fire is hardwired or built into a wall, have the electrical work done by a qualified electrician.
Questions
Does it have a flame effect?
It has an LED glow over a pebble bed rather than a flame picture. The glow can be used without heat, as the first setting is the ambient glow only.
What colour is the glow?
On the black version it glows orange/yellow, and the colour cannot be changed.
What size recess does it need?
545 mm high, 385 mm wide and 120 mm deep. The spacer adjusts the inset depth. The whole fire is 595 mm high, 485 mm wide and 156 mm deep.
How much heat does it give?
1kW or 2kW with a thermostat.
Can I plug it in?
The black version is listed as plug and play, with the plug on the left side viewed from the front. The plug must stay accessible after installation so the fire can be isolated in an emergency, so it must not be plugged in anywhere behind the fire or surround.
Is it glass fronted?
The black version is open-fronted and made from steel.
